You may think you're saving money by paying
less to hire less-qualified people. But these consultants will
ultimately cost you more than they save. They could do more damage
than just crashing the network.
Certification is one thing to look for when
shopping for an IT consultant or firm, but then there are so many
different certifications. You really want to know that the person
you are hiring is certified in the specific area you require.
For example an A+ Certification signifies that the certified individual
possesses the knowledge and skills essential for a successful
entry-level computer service technician. This certification does
not involve any networking skills evaluation. So if you hire someone
to work on your network and they tell you they are A+ Certified
this does not mean that they are qualified to work on your network.
We have provided some links below to explain
the most popular IT certifications.

You should also check that these Certified Technicians
are in fact certified, it does not hurt to ask for proof of certification.
For example, Microsoft provides each certified person with a credit
card type certification card. This card has a unique Microsoft
Certified Professional Number (MCP ID Number), which can be checked
with Microsoft. This really is a good idea if you are going to
let someone work on your valuable data and systems!
All of our technicians are certified and all
of our technicians are specifically certified in one or more areas
of expertise. More importantly they are experienced! Although
certification school is indispensable, real world experience is
critical for a technician to be really effective on the job. We
require at least a year of real world experience for all our techs
before we send them on a customer site. We have Microsoft experts,
Novell experts, and hardware, system building and repair experts,
to list a few.
The single best way of
choosing a consultant or consulting firm is to speak with some
of their clients with similar systems. We have provided a list
of some of our clients for you to contact. You will see that we
come highly recommended. Click here
